a)
Basic Qualification- A pass in HSE /SSC /VHSE
3 YEAR Engineering Diploma or Equivalent With minium of 50%marks
for Mathematics and average 50% for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry
put together. For Diploma holders minium requirement is 50%mark
in final examanition. For Muslims, Ezhavas and socially and educationally
backward communities (SEBC) below the creamy layer. minium requirementis
45% marks. for SC/ST candidates minium requirement is a pass in
the qualifting exam. |

Second year (Lateral Entry Scheme) |

Engineering
Diploma holders with 60% marks (SE,BC-55% and SC,ST a pass) in the
diploma exam are eligible for admission to the 2nd year (regular
full-time batch)of the four year Engineering degree course under
the lateral entry scheme, provided they qualify in the entrance examination conducted fot the lateral entry scheme by the state Government. |
